ABOUT
Dermal Filler
Dermal fillers can help restore lost volume, enhance facial contours, and create a naturally refreshed look. As we age, the deep fat pads that support the cheeks can shrink, leading to less structure and definition. Dermal fillers help lift and contour the cheeks, restoring a more youthful, balanced appearance.
For lips, fillers can add subtle definition or a fuller look, depending on your goals. Treatment can enhance shape, add volume, and help smooth fine lines for hydrated, beautifully balanced lips.
Beyond cheeks and lips, filler can also enhance the chin, jawline, and smile lines to support overall facial balance and structure.
The Art of Subtle Enhancement
We use premium hyaluronic acid based fillers that integrate naturally into the skin for smooth, refined results. Every treatment is customized to your unique features, with precise placement to restore volume, soften fine lines, and maintain facial harmony.
COMMON AREAS WE TREAT
Dermal filler can be used to restore volume, refine contour, and support facial balance. Common treatment areas include:
Lips
Cheeks
Chin
Jawline
Nasolabial folds (smile lines)
Marionette lines
Pre jowl sulcus
Midface support when appropriate
VOLUME LOSS AND WEIGHT CHANGE
Significant weight loss can lead to facial volume loss, especially in the cheeks, temples, and around the mouth. Many clients notice this during or after weight loss, including with GLP 1 medication journeys. Dermal filler can help restore a healthy, refreshed look while maintaining natural facial balance.
RESULTS AND LONGEVITY
Depending on the area treated and the product selected, results may last about 9 months to 2 years for many clients, and sometimes longer. Your nurse practitioner will help you choose the best option based on your goals and anatomy.
A Comfortable Experience
Most fillers contain lidocaine to minimize discomfort. For added ease, we offer topical numbing and cooling techniques before treatment.
Results are immediate, but it typically takes about 2 to 3 weeks for filler to fully settle and soften, revealing your final, refreshed look.
Post-Treatment Instructions
At Pink Rose Aesthetics, your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities. Following these guidelines helps support the best results after dermal filler.
Managing Swelling and Healing
Ice: Apply a cold compress for up to 20 minutes at a time, about every 2 hours as needed during the first 24 hours
.Hands off: Avoid touching, pressing, or massaging the treated area for 48 to 72 hours unless you are specifically instructed to do so.
As swelling settles, the area may feel firm, uneven, or slightly lumpy. This can be a normal part of healing. If any unevenness remains after about 3 weeks, gentle daily massage may help, but only if advised. If you have concerns at any point, contact us for guidance.
Vascular Occlusion Awareness
While rare, vascular occlusion (reduced blood flow) is a potential risk of dermal filler. Choosing an experienced injector with strong anatomical knowledge helps reduce risk, but it is important to recognize warning signs.
Signs to watch for:
Pain that feels out of proportion or worsening pain in the treated area
Blanching or whitening of the skin
Dusky, gray, or blue discoloration
Redness outside the treated area
Lacy or netlike bruising pattern
Blisters or pustules on the surface
If you notice any of these symptoms, contact us immediately. Early recognition and treatment matters. Hyaluronic acid fillers are reversible with hyaluronidase if necessary.
Additional Considerations
Filler treatments are not recommended for individuals who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or allergic to lidocaine.
Pre- and post-treatment photos will be taken to track your transformation.
